POV: I thought birth would be magical. Instead, I ended up with a C-section I hadn’t planned. If your birth didn’t go the way you imagined, it’s okay to grieve the experience you hoped for. You can be incredibly grateful for your baby and still feel disappointed by your birth. Both can be true.
