The only thing that eases my mind when the world gets too loud....Artist●Painter●Photographer●Poet● Exploring life, time, and spirituality through art. {Abu Rasasa} Forgive but never forget! #Art
As someone deeply immersed in the world of art, I have found that creative expression is a powerful tool for navigating the complexities of life and spirituality. Whether through painting, photography, or poetry, each artistic medium offers a unique way to slow down time and reflect on personal experiences. For instance, black and white art has a timeless, almost meditative quality that strips away distractions and allows the essence of a moment or feeling to come forward. It’s like peering into the soul of the subject, unclouded by color but rich with emotion. Visual poetry complements this by combining words with imagery to create layered meanings that speak both to the mind and heart. What continually draws me back to art is its ability to foster forgiveness and remembrance simultaneously. The philosophy of forgiving but never forgetting that I embrace informs much of my work. It’s not about holding onto pain but transforming experiences into something meaningful and healing. This transformative process is what I believe connects art so deeply to the soul. Through my journey, I’ve learned that time, often relentless and noisy, actually tells all and always reveals truths if we take the time to listen. Engaging in art makes me more attuned to these subtleties of existence, reminding me that creativity and spirituality are intertwined paths to inner peace. I encourage anyone feeling overwhelmed by the fast pace of life to explore their own creative outlets—whether sketching, writing, photography, or any form that resonates—to find solace and self-discovery in the process.
