This whole child is a character 😒🥴😭😫😂
Monkey just be saying anything 😭😫🤣
You know how kids can just be absolute characters? My little one, Tiny Jr. (we sometimes call him Monkey because he's so mischievous!), is definitely one of those. Lately, our living room has turned into a full-blown theater, especially when his favorite shows are on. I swear, sometimes I think Tiny Jr. is auditioning for the WordGirl cast himself! He’ll be mimicking Becky Botsford's serious face or bursting out laughing at Captain Huggy Face’s antics. We’ll be sitting there, and he'll suddenly shout out a word like 'perplexed!' or 'gargantuan!' that he's picked up from the show. It's truly amazing how much vocabulary he's absorbing just from watching. It makes me wonder if he thinks he's part of the WordGirl cast sometimes, ready to save the day with powerful vocabulary. It’s not just the words; he tries to copy their poses too. Honestly, Monkey is so funny when he's really into it! And don't even get me started on Little Einsteins! That show is a whole other adventure. There’s one episode where June from Little Einsteins is crying, and Tiny Jr. gets so genuinely concerned. He’ll pat the TV screen or offer her his snack, saying 'Don't cry, June!' It's the sweetest, most empathetic reaction. It shows how much these characters resonate with him. We’ve had a few moments where he’s teared up with her, and then we have to pause the show and have a little chat about feelings. It’s hilarious but also really touching to see his little heart so invested. It's like we're in the club of parents whose kids are obsessed with these shows. You know, that tiny.licious feeling when your child discovers something they genuinely love and you get to experience it all over again through their eyes? That's exactly how it is with these cartoons. We've even started making up our own 'missions' around the house, inspired by the team's adventures. Whether it's finding a 'super word' or going on a 'musical adventure,' it’s never a dull moment. I try to encourage his imaginative play, and these shows really fuel it. It’s not just about screen time; it's about the conversations and the learning that sparks from it. Who knew a show about words could teach so much, or that musical adventures could inspire so much empathy? Seeing my Tiny jr grow and learn, and express such genuine emotions, whether it's roaring with laughter at a silly character or showing concern when June is crying, truly makes my day. These little moments are what parenting is all about. If your kids are also big characters and have their own hilarious reactions to their favorite shows, I'd love to hear about them!
