Porthgain Harbour (Welsh: Porth-gain, meaning "beautiful harbour") is a small fishing village and former stone industrial harbour located on the northern coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales.

This is now declared a Conservation Area by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park because of its beautiful natural views, contrasting perfectly with the former industrial ruins.

* Industrial boom period (19th century - early 20th century): Historically the period c.1850 - 1931, Porthgain was not a quiet fishing village as it is now, but a bustling and very important industrial port, being an export center for grey granite (Roadstone), slate (Slate) and bricks quarried from nearby mines.

* Unique red brick architecture: The most prominent building by the bay is "The Brickworks and Hoppers," or a large stone storage tank built of enormous red brick, towering by the cliffs, which was historically used to convey stone and brick directly into freight ships.

* End of the Mine Era: After the Great Depression, mines and brick factories closed permanently in 1931, the port changed its role to a small fishing port for catching crabs and lobster (Lobster) instead.

* The Hoppers (Ancient Industrial Remains): Remains of red brick buildings by the city's iconic cliffs. Tourists can walk up the hill for a view from a high angle and take raw architectural pictures. Very beautifully intersected with the blue sea.

* The Shed Fish and Chip Bistro: An award-winning waterfront bistro-style restaurant with many delicious guarantees. Featuring a Fish & Chips menu and a fresh, day-to-day seafood menu from the village's own fishing boat. It runs daily from 09: 30 to 22: 00.
