ถ้าเสิร์ชคำว่า “ทีชัลล่า” หรือ “แบล็คแพนเธอร์” แล้วกำลังลังเลว่าจะดูดีไหม หรืออยากรู้ว่าคาแรกเตอร์ของทีชัลล่าเด่นตรงไหน เราว่า Black Panther (2018) เป็นเรื่องที่ดูง่ายและสนุกมากในแบบมาร์เวล แต่มีเอกลักษณ์ชัดสุดๆ เพราะโลกของวาคานด้า (Wakanda) ถูกเล่าผ่านวัฒนธรรม ชนเผ่า (tribe) พิธีกรรม (ritual) และความเชื่อเรื่องบรรพบุรุษ (ancestor/ancestral) ทำให้แบล็คแพนเธอร์ไม่ได้เท่แค่ชุด แต่เท่จาก “ราก” ของเรื่องจริงๆ ทีชัลล่าเป็นฮีโร่ที่ดูนิ่ง สุขุม มีมารยาท (grace) และมีภาวะผู้นำแบบที่รู้สึกได้ว่าไม่ได้เก่งเพราะพลังอย่างเดียว แต่เก่งเพราะ “ต้องรับผิดชอบ” กับทั้งประเทศและคนของตัวเอง พอหนังพาไปเห็นฉากสำคัญอย่างพิธีขึ้นครองราชย์ (reign) หรือฉากที่เกี่ยวกับการตัดสินใจว่าจะ “เปิด” หรือ “ปิด” ประเทศ มันเลยมีมิติทางความคิดมากกว่าแค่การต่อสู้ (combat) อย่างเดียว อีกอย่างที่เราชอบคือฝั่งคู่ปรับอย่างคิลมองเกอร์ เขาทำให้ประเด็นในหนังคมขึ้นแบบเถียงกันได้จริง ไม่ได้มาเป็นตัวร้ายแบนๆ และหลายซีนทำให้เราเข้าใจแรงขับของเขา แม้จะไม่เห็นด้วยกับวิธีการก็ตาม (คำที่นึกถึงคือ oppressive, condemn, liberate ที่โยงกับธีมทั้งเรื่องได้ดี) ถ้าอยากดูให้ได้ศัพท์เพิ่ม เราแนะนำให้ลองสังเกตคำที่โผล่ในบริบทเด่นๆ ของหนัง เช่น - tribe / border / sovereign: เวลาพูดเรื่องชนเผ่า อาณาเขต อำนาจรัฐ - ritual / burial / funeral: เวลาพูดถึงพิธีและการสูญเสีย - ancestor / ancestral: เวลาพูดถึงสายเลือดและการสืบทอด - colonizer: คำนี้โผล่มาแล้วสะเทือนใจ เพราะมันมีน้ำหนักทางประวัติศาสตร์ ทริคเล็กๆ ตอนดู: เรามักจดคำศัพท์ 5–10 คำต่อรอบ แล้วกลับมาทำประโยคสั้นๆ เอง เช่น “He will maintain peace.” หรือ “The tribe will proceed with the ritual.” วิธีนี้จำง่ายกว่าท่องเป็นลิสต์มาก สรุปคือ ถ้าคุณชอบความเท่แบบมีความหมาย และอยากรู้จัก “ทีชัลล่า” ให้มากขึ้น Black Panther คือเรื่องที่ดูแล้วเข้าใจเลยว่าทำไมแบล็คแพนเธอร์ถึงมีแฟนคลับเยอะขนาดนี้
