... Read moreAttending a journalling party like the Soulful Soul & Shadow Journalling & Tarot Party offers a refreshing escape from the daily hustle, providing space to slow down and reconnect with yourself creatively and spiritually. From my experience, these gatherings aren't just about writing or drawing; they foster a nurturing environment where you can explore your inner thoughts through guided prompts that encourage deep self-reflection. The mix of tangible elements like cute stickers and shared stationery brings a delightful tactile joy that stimulates creativity. Having access to such materials, especially if you’re new to journalling or don’t have an extensive collection, really lowers the barrier to getting started. Plus, the presence of others going through similar reflective processes in a small-group format creates a welcoming atmosphere and sparks meaningful conversations, but only if you feel comfortable joining in. The tarot pulls add a mystical dimension to the event, helping interpret subconscious feelings or provide gentle guidance for personal growth. I found that combining journalling with tarot readings offers a balanced approach to self-discovery, merging intuition with reflection. The takeaway reflection card serves as a thoughtful reminder of insights gained during the session, something I personally cherish as it keeps the party’s energy alive long after the event. Collaborating with Slow Bloom: Paper Social & Market infuses the event with a sense of community and shared passion for stationery and mindful living. If you love stationery or want to connect with like-minded souls, this kind of event is invaluable. It’s not just about writing; it’s about slowing down in a fast-paced world, discovering new perspectives through Soul and Shadow journalling, and celebrating creativity in a supportive space. If you’re contemplating joining, I’d recommend bringing your favorite journals and pens, but don’t worry if you don’t have many supplies—they provide some materials to get you started. Keep an open mind and heart for genuine self-connection and community bonding. Overall, it’s a unique, enriching experience that combines creativity, mindfulness, and connection, perfect for anyone looking to nurture their inner world in a cozy, gentle environment.
