Creating music that intertwines personal faith and modern technology can be a deeply rewarding experience. In this project, I embraced the challenge of composing and performing all guitar parts myself while experimenting with various musical machines and programming techniques. Incorporating AI-generated drums added a fresh, dynamic layer that complemented the emotional depth of the piece. One of the most fascinating aspects of blending AI with traditional musicianship is how it pushes creative boundaries without replacing the human touch. The use of AI drums allowed me to experiment with complex rhythms and beats that might be difficult to perform live, offering a unique soundscape that enhances the storytelling in the music. I’m also excited about the upcoming vocal recordings, which will add another personal dimension to the track. Beyond the music itself, I’m developing an accompanying Bible study to provide spiritual context and reflection, making this not just a listening experience but an opportunity for personal growth and connection. For musicians considering integrating AI or programming into their work, my advice is to view these tools as collaborators rather than replacements. They can open new creative avenues while keeping your authentic voice front and center.
