Creating music that blends spirituality with modern technology is a rewarding but challenging experience. In this project, the use of AI for drum programming opened up new creative possibilities, allowing a more experimental indie sound that complements the Christian themes. Programming various musical machines to build the intricate layers gave the song a unique texture that can’t be easily replicated with traditional band setups. Working solo on all the guitar parts helped me deeply connect with the emotions of the song’s narrative. The process requires patience and a lot of self-critique but allows for total creative freedom. I’m excited to add vocals, which will bring a personal and emotional depth to the piece, making the biblical messages more impactful. Accompanying the song with a Bible study is intended to enrich the listening experience by providing context and encouraging reflection. This integration of music and scripture not only appeals to fans of Christian indie music but also invites those interested in exploring faith through art and experimental sound.
