This will be the first post of The Art of Happy Money review series that SET has presented through the work of five young artists. Today, we will learn to plan financially from the Young & Wise Guide (Credit: Nutpol Gomlarchun or KAMOGallery). 🗣️
✍️ Smart Goals: Before saving, it would be great if we had a goal first, an inspiration and direction for life. This guide recommends starting with the order of priorities and smallness of goals, focusing on the goals we set every day, whether progress is small or large.
✍️ 50/30/20 Rule: A relatively loud way to divide expenses money is 50/30/20 Rule (50% Needs 30% Wants Goals 20%), which can be further digested by period (monthly, week or day) or by category (such as eating, travel, and so on).
✍️ Keep Emergency Money: This guide recommends keeping money in a savings account with relatively high interest or a money market fund. And it can crack savings according to set goals. It's important to spend this money when really needed.
✍️ Invest in Insurance: The two main insurance items should be life insurance (with family insurance funding) and health insurance (helping to lighten hospital care costs). The younger, the lower the premium is paid and the tax deductible.
Savings ✍️ multiply: Come together with the advantages of saving and investing money at a young age, because it is achieved by principal power, duration power, and yield power.

การเริ่มต้นวางแผนการเงินตั้งแต่ยังอายุน้อยถือว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญมาก ซึ่งผมเองก็ได้ลองนำหลักการจากคู่มือ Young & Wise มาใช้ และพบว่าการมีเป้าหมายที่ชัดเจน (Smart Goals) ช่วยให้การออมและบริหารเงินมีทิศทางมากขึ้น ผมใช้วิธีแบ่งเงินตาม 50/30/20 Rule โดยแบ่ง 50% สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายจำเป็น, 30% สำหรับความต้องการส่วนตัว และ 20% สำหรับเป้าหมายการออมและลงทุน ซึ่งทำให้ผมสามารถควบคุมรายจ่ายและไม่ใช้เงินเกินตัวได้อย่างเห็นผล นอกจากนี้ ผมก็เก็บเงินฉุกเฉินไว้ในบัญชีที่ให้ดอกเบี้ยสูงและกองทุนตลาดเงิน เพื่อให้เงินส่วนนี้พร้อมใช้เวลาฉุกเฉินจริงๆ เช่น ยามเจ็บป่วยหรือตกงาน ซึ่งช่วยลดความกังวลในชีวิตประจำวันได้มาก เรื่องของการลงทุนกับประกันก็เป็นอีกจุดที่สำคัญ โดยเฉพาะประกันชีวิตแบบตลอดชีพและประกันสุขภาพ ที่ช่วยป้องกันความเสี่ยงทางการเงินและยังได้สิทธิ์ลดหย่อนภาษีด้วย การเริ่มทำตั้งแต่ยังเด็กจะทำให้ค่าเบี้ยประกันถูกและคุ้มค่าในระยะยาว ผมยังเห็นด้วยกับหลักการเงินออมเพิ่มค่าทวีคูณ เพราะการเริ่มออมเงินตั้งแต่อายุยังน้อยจะทำให้เงินเติบโตแบบทบต้นผ่านระยะเวลานาน ส่งผลให้มีเงินก้อนใหญ่ในอนาคตซึ่งช่วยให้มีอิสรภาพทางการเงินเร็วขึ้น จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การมีวินัยและติดตามเป้าหมายอย่างต่อเนื่องสำคัญมาก แนะนำให้จดบันทึกการใช้จ่ายและทบทวนแผนการเงินเป็นประจำ รวมถึงพูดคุยและแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับคนรอบข้าง จะช่วยเสริมแรงจูงใจและเพิ่มแนวคิดใหม่ๆ ในการบริหารเงินครับ
