Earth Day 2024
Dearest Digi-Journal,
I have found the color green to be so healing. Not only is it a reflection of the color of the heart chakra but it is the color of prosperity, money, and growth.
I am embracing all of these things this spring and cultivating my green thumb at the same time for “I Am Groot!”
And the idea that “black girls don’t (insert stereotype here)” is so played out ✌🏿I’m black AF and I swim, I hike, I’m blasting rock and Sexxy Red, I watch anime, I will rock sketchers, I will always season my food vigoursly, my speech is a product of education and opportunity (love u momma) not skin color, I’m a veggietale (chickens this is a safe space), I skate, and I’m finna do it again! Do I know where my dad is? No, but I’m hella talented so yasss💁🏿♀️
I enjoyed Jersey City with my play cousins and my momma post a college tour *dramatic pause for my tears and realization I’m officially old* and the free brinner (brunch and dinner) I didn’t have to pay for 😏. Plus I got free plants and honey with the honeycomb for allergy season!! I got a marigold I named Marisol Taishan , A Hairy Beardtongue that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds i named Hairy Stylez and a Red Oak I’m gonna plant in the park named Rosa Parks (cuz she’s a black qween who will be throwing and providing shade in ten years for ppl seated on bench’s in- you guessed it- the park duhh ✨🌳). Also I only got a balcony soo yeah…
I’m gonna go listen to Tyler the Creator sing Earf Quake and hella Jhene Aiko while I frolick. Ta-ta💕
