The lagoons are also great for paddleboarding and kayaking. Eisenhower Beach has a more local vibe and is popular among surfers for its consistent waves. It’s also a great place to enjoy scenic views of Diamond Head and the southern coast of Oahu. Sandy's Beach, located on the southeastern shore, is famous for its powerful shore break and is primarily a spot for experienced bodyboarders and bodysurfers. It also hosts stunning sunrises and is a great place to watch skilled surfers.
