Let me go ahead and make me a little appointment. #fyp #millennial #friends
Sometimes, cutting off toxic people feels like the only way to protect your mental health, but it can leave you feeling unexpectedly lonely. I’ve been there too—when you had to cut everybody tf off and now life's feeling a little lonely. It’s a tough transition, but it’s also an opportunity for growth. In my experience, the key is to embrace the solitude initially and use it to reflect on what you really want from your friendships and your life. Scheduling some “me time” helps a lot—it’s like making a little appointment with yourself to recharge and reconnect with your true self. Rebuilding your social network doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Start small by reaching out to one or two positive, supportive people. Engaging in hobbies or interest groups can also help you meet like-minded friends gradually. Remember, being selective about who stays in your life is a strength, not a weakness. Even if it feels lonely now, the payoff is healthier, more meaningful relationships that truly uplift you. #millennial life is all about learning these boundaries to find the friends and support systems that truly resonate.
