My journey to finding the best seasoning for boiled eggs wasn't overnight. I tried so many different spices and combinations, but this specific blend truly hit different. It's not just about throwing a few spices on; it's about creating a harmonious mix that makes every bite burst with flavor. This recipe is a game-changer for anyone who loves boiled eggs with spices, and trust me, you'll want to add it to your regular rotation. Here’s the breakdown of my go-to seasoning blend, inspired directly by the flavors that make my egg boils so addictive: 1 tsp Cayenne pepper: This gives it a fantastic kick without being overwhelmingly spicy. It’s perfect for that warm, lingering heat. 1 tsp Old Bay: A classic for a reason! Old Bay brings that deep, savory, slightly smoky seafood boil flavor that pairs surprisingly well with eggs, even in a non-seafood context. 2 tsp Paprika: I use a generous amount of paprika for its vibrant color and a subtle sweetness that balances the heat. You can use sweet or smoked paprika depending on your preference. 1 tsp Lemon pepper: This is crucial for adding a bright, zesty lift.
