If you’re simply surviving, you’re not alone, my love. My show is for you 💔🥀

Hello, I’m Lila Gray and I’m a Mother, and a survivor- I work full time, live paycheck to paycheck and I’ve been through some things- I don’t have it all figured out- but here I am. Just like most of us. I’m finding the courage to tell my story about homelessness, isolation, loss and grief, teen pregnancy, sexual abuse and so much more on my Podcast- Torn Petals. It’s now on Spotify. I would love to build a community of strong women who have been through it and are still here, still surviving. We may not have it all out yet- but this is a work in progress and that’s just fine. 🩷, Lila.

... Read moreNavigating the challenges of life while working full time and living paycheck to paycheck can feel overwhelming, but connecting with others who share similar experiences can be incredibly empowering. On my journey, listening to stories of survivors who have faced isolation, loss, and trauma helped me realize that I was not alone in my struggles. The Torn Petals podcast offers a safe space to explore difficult topics like teen pregnancy, sexual abuse, and grief, and to celebrate the strength it takes to keep going despite hardships. I’ve found that sharing personal stories openly provides not just relief but inspires hope. It’s okay to admit that life is a work in progress, and healing does not have a set timeline. Being part of a compassionate community made up of women who understand these battles creates a powerful network of support. Whether you’re still fighting or beginning to heal, gathering strength from others who have walked similar paths can motivate you to keep moving forward. Hosting Torn Petals has also deepened my understanding of resilience and self-compassion. Each episode reveals new perspectives about survival and the importance of kindness toward oneself during recovery. If you feel like you’re merely surviving, tune into the podcast, where stories are shared with honesty and vulnerability—helping us all to grow stronger together.
