Living out my vision board because of God
Welcome back to my grownish series! If you’re new here, my name is Lucia and I recently moved to Dallas, TX and I’m committed to taking you on the journey of making my first apartment and this new state, my home. I still have a long way to go, but I’ve been enjoying each step and I want to take a moment to talk about an answered prayer:
I knew the kind of apartment I wanted to get before I moved in. I knew the kind of lifestyle I wanted and the money I needed to make in order to afford all of this. And I truly want to thank God for making it happen. It wasn’t easy and I definitely pushed myself this year and it paid off in major ways. If you’re going through this journey and think your progress isn’t great or you feel stuck, you are NOT alone. I basically had to reinvent myself from losing fake friends, losing a job, and losing myself! You GOT this and things can and will get better.

Finding the strength to pursue your dreams can be a transformative experience. As I settled into my new apartment in Dallas, I realized how crucial faith and persistence have been in this journey. It's essential to visualize your goals, just as I did with my vision board. Visualization aids in sustaining motivation and keeping your dreams alive. Whether it's about personal growth, achieving financial independence, or building meaningful relationships, remember that the path is often nonlinear. Many face obstacles like losing friendships, jobs, or even self-worth along the way—this alone shouldn’t deter you. Instead, use these challenges as stepping stones towards your goals. Community support, whether from friends or online networks, can provide you with encouragement and accountability. Embrace vulnerability and share your journey, just as I did by documenting my move and challenges. Lastly, celebrate your small victories. Each step you take toward your goals counts and builds momentum. Continue believing in your vision and take proactive steps to live it out. After all, this journey is not just about where you end up, but who you become in the process. Trust the timeline of your life, and know that your aspirations are achievable when rooted in hope and determination.
