They said you won’t make it…

1/22 Edited to

... Read moreFacing doubts from those closest to you can be disheartening, especially when they say things like, "You will never grow, you don't have the genetics." I've been there myself—times when blood relatives or friends questioned my potential based on ideas of predetermined genetics or limitations. What I've learned is that mindset truly matters more than any predetermined factor. The quote by Alex Hormozi, "If they don't have what you want, don't listen to what they say," resonates deeply with me. It reminds me that advice or opinions from others should align with your own goals and values. If someone can't support or understand your vision, it’s okay to respectfully tune out their negativity. In fitness and personal growth journeys, the biggest breakthroughs come from consistent effort and a mindset that refuses to be limited by genetics or initial conditions. Rather than focusing on what you lack biologically, focus on what you can control—your habits, your training, your nutrition, and most importantly your mental resilience. For example, I started with modest fitness levels but embraced a mindset focused on steady progress and motivation. Surrounding myself with inspiring quotes and communities (#fitnessmotivation, #mindsetmatters) helped me push through barriers. The label of "poor genetics" became less relevant as my dedication increased. Remember, genetics might influence starting points, but they don’t dictate your finish line. By cultivating a growth mindset and refusing to internalize limiting beliefs from others, you can accomplish far more than expected. So, when someone says you won't make it, thank them silently for their doubt—because it fuels your determination to prove them wrong.

Who said resale homes can’t glow up?
✨ A Calm Home by the Sea When we first met the homeowners, they just wanted a home that felt easy, warm, and timeless, a little escape by the sea. That idea guided everything. The arched entryway softens the welcome home moment, while the glass arch keeps the light flowing.  Dining is cozy
