Things I do as a Muslim

As Muslims, it’s important to recognize the purpose of our existence as highlighted in the Quran: "I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me." (51:56). This verse emphasizes that our primary role is to worship Allah, reinforcing the notion that our worldly lives are temporary and serve as a preparation for the hereafter. Another critical teaching is contained in the verse, "Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Most Forbearing." (2:263). This underscores the significance of maintaining good character, showing kindness, and providing forgiveness in our daily interactions. Additionally, engaging in acts of charity, contributing to the Ummah, and supporting fellow Muslims not only enrich our lives but also strengthen our community. Whether through educational initiatives, outreach programs, or simply offering support to those in need, these actions reflect the teachings of Islam and lead us closer to achieving Jana (paradise). Daily prayers, reading and reflection on the Quran, and attending congregational worship are further ways to cultivate a strong connection with Allah. Each of these practices reinforces our faith and provides guidance as we navigate the challenges of life, always aiming to improve ourselves and fulfill our purpose.
