we LOVE these customised wedding blind boxes šš
One thing we really wanted for our wedding was for our door gifts to feel personal and meaningful ā not just something generic, but something that reflected us as a couple š¤
We decided to customise blind boxes for our guests, and filled them with some of our favourite things! Inside each box were different flavours of Tās favourite coffee capsules from The Brew Therapy āļø and Jās all-time favourite madeleines from Cat in the Hat Bakery š„°
We loved the idea of sharing a little piece of ourselves with our guests through the things we genuinely enjoy in our daily lives.
The blind boxes were also surprisingly spacious! At 10cm x 10cm x 15cm, they fit both the coffee capsules and madeleines comfortably, with room to spare.
To make them even more special, we customised every detail of the box:
⨠Our personalised couple illustrations
⨠Our pre-wedding shoot photos
⨠A heartfelt thank-you message to our guests
We wanted our guests to feel appreciated from the moment they received the gift, and hopefully bring home a small keepsake from our wedding day š«¶š»
Looking back, this was one of our favourite wedding DIY projects because it brought together so many things we love ā good coffee, good food, meaningful memories, and thoughtful details.
If youāre currently planning your wedding and looking for unique door gift ideas, customised blind boxes are definitely something worth considering! They can be personalised to fit your wedding theme and filled with items that tell your own story as a couple š¤

When planning your wedding, choosing door gifts that truly reflect you as a couple can create lasting memories for your guests. I recently experienced the charm of personalised blind boxes at a wedding, and it was impressive how thoughtful and versatile they were. These boxes offer the perfect balance of surprise and personal touch, making each guest feel valued. A highlight of these customised blind boxes is their spaciousnessāat roughly 10cm by 10cm by 15cm, they comfortably hold multiple items like coffee capsules and madeleines while allowing room for additional keepsakes. This makes them ideal for those looking to include a variety of meaningful gifts without overwhelming guests. Adding personalised elements such as couple illustrations, pre-wedding photos, or thank-you notes turns a simple box into a beautiful storytelling piece. Itās a wonderful way to share your journey and gratitude, ensuring guests leave with a heartfelt reminder of your special day. From my perspective, these boxes also invite creative DIY opportunities. You can tailor the contents to reflect shared hobbies, favourite snacks, or even local treatsāmaking the unboxing experience extra special. For couples looking to avoid generic gifts, customised blind boxes offer an intimate connection that guests will remember. If youāre thinking about unique wedding door gifts, consider ordering or hand-making these blind boxes. Not only do they bring in aesthetic appeal and thoughtful personalization, but they also promote a memorable interaction between you and your guests. Sharing what you genuinely enjoyālike specialty coffee or artisanal baked goodsāadds a meaningful touch that resonates far beyond the celebration itself. Ultimately, personalised wedding blind boxes combine practicality, creativity, and sentimentality, making them a fantastic DIY project and a cherished part of your wedding day. Whether you prefer to craft them yourself or work with a designer, these boxes are a charming and heartfelt way to say thank you to those who celebrate with you.
