Sea Peoples, Mystical Forces of the Mediterranean
The Sea Peoples were a group of people who rose to power in the late Bronze period, identified by name and role in 1207 and 1177 BC, recorded as a maritime mystery army that invaded the Egyptian kingdom in the days of Pharaoh Merenptah, and the great forces of the last invasion in the days of Pharaoh Ramses III to the end of his power, having been scattered to different places since then.
The Sea Peoples were Peleset, Sekelesh, Sirden, Teresh, Weshesh, Danuna, and Ekwesh. The names of these seven groups were engraved in the tombs of Pharaoh Ramses III as conquerors, but historical evidence also finds that the Sea Peoples were a major cause in the collapse of ancient kingdoms like Hittite, Kissuwatna, Carchemish, Arzava, and Cyprus, all of which were recorded as having been cut off at once, were defeated by this mysterious force characterized by their invasion using warships, and plundering, followed by fire until they burned. These Anatolian lands, attacked by the Sea Peoples, could be revived briefly before Assyria came to attack the entire sweep as easily as is recorded in the Bible.
However, the collapse of the ancient kingdom may have been caused by three other major causes: 1. The plague of the late Bronze Period, 2. The earthquake which shook the kingdom to weakness, such as Mycene, Tiryns, Pylos, Hittite, Ugarit, and 3. The collapsed system, which is the most likely reason because all kingdoms are systematically linked to each other. If a kingdom falls, it will push the rest to collapse.
It is also inscribed that the Peleset group, after its fall, migrated to the west of the Levant or Canaanite, as a means of the Philistines, and were recorded to three-meter-tall people like Goliath, possibly because the group was from Crete, not native to Canaan from the beginning.
