ถ้าใครกำลังหาแนว “ภาษาไทยวันละคำ 100 คำ” เพื่อฝึกทุกวัน แต่ไม่อยากท่องแบบลอย ๆ เราแนะนำให้ทำเป็นรูทีนที่ “จำแล้วเอาไปใช้” ได้จริง โดยใช้ชุด Synonyms ที่ออกสอบบ่อย (อย่าง Important, Dangerous, Change, Problem, Improve/Develop, Start/Begin, Show/Display, Famous, Happy/Cheerful, Beautiful/Attractive) มาฝึกเป็นชุด ๆ จะเห็นผลไวมาก วิธีที่เราทำแล้วเวิร์กคือแบ่ง 100 คำเป็น 10 วัน วันละ 10 คำพอ (ไม่ต้องฝืน) แล้วให้โฟกัส 3 อย่างต่อคำ 1) ความหมายหลัก (แก่นเดียวกัน) 2) “ระดับภาษา/โทน” ว่าทางการหรือไม่ทางการ 3) ตัวอย่างประโยคสั้น ๆ 1 ประโยค ตัวอย่างการฝึกแบบนี้จะช่วยเรื่องข้อสอบ Reading มาก เพราะโจทย์ชอบสลับคำพ้องความหมายให้เราเดาใจความ เช่น - Important: ลองแยก “crucial / essential / significant” ไว้ด้วยกัน แล้วจำว่า crucial/essential จะเน้น “จำเป็นมาก” ส่วน significant จะเน้น “มีนัยสำคัญ” เหมาะกับบทความเชิงวิชาการ - Dangerous: ถ้าเจอ hazardous มักเป็นอันตรายจากสาร/สภาพแวดล้อม, risky จะออกแนว “เสี่ยง” มากกว่า - Change: alter/modify จะเหมาะกับการ “ปรับเล็กน้อย”, transform จะเปลี่ยนแบบพลิกภาพรวม อีกทริคที่ช่วยให้จำได้ยาว ๆ คือทำ “กล่องคำศัพท์” 3 หมวด - หมวดข้อสอบ: คำที่เจอบ่อยใน Reading (เช่น problem, improve, show) - หมวดเขียน: คำที่ช่วยให้ Essay ไม่ซ้ำ (เช่น develop, significant, attractive) - หมวดพูด: คำที่ใช้จริงในชีวิตประจำวัน (เช่น happy/cheerful, famous) เวลาอ่านวันละคำครบ 100 คำแล้ว เราจะไม่รู้สึกว่ามันกระจัดกระจาย แต่เป็นคลังศัพท์ที่หยิบใช้ได้ทันที สุดท้าย แนะนำให้ทำ “Mini-Quiz” ให้ตัวเองวันละ 2 นาที: ปิดโน้ตแล้วลองนึก 2 synonyms ต่อ 1 คำ (เช่น start = begin/commence, show = display/demonstrate) ถ้านึกไม่ออกค่อยกลับไปดู ทำแบบนี้ 7–10 วัน คะแนนพาร์ตคำศัพท์/Reading จะเริ่มนิ่งขึ้นแบบรู้สึกได้เลยค่ะ
