This is always so complicated to explain. I hope it makes sense š#phasmophobia #phasmophobiagame #phasmaphobiaclips #phas #phasmo
In my experience playing Phasmophobia, the Onryo is one of the most unpredictable and dangerous ghosts, especially because it reacts strongly to fire. What Iāve found most effective when dealing with an Onryo is the use of two firelights simultaneously. This might sound simple, but itās a game-changer for safety. The key idea is that the Onryo hunts after it sees three firelight extinguishes, no matter what your sanity level isāeven if you have 100% sanity, it will still hunt after three extinguished firelights. So, having one or three firelights isnāt ideal. Using just one firelight puts you at risk if itās extinguished, and three can actually allow the hunt trigger sequence to complete. When you use two firelights, you essentially break the ghostās ability to trigger the hunt. Even if the Onryo blows one out, you have another lit firelight ready. This means it can't complete the extinguish sequence of three within the 20 seconds it targets firelights. Think of the firelight like a tier 2 crucifix with infinite uses specifically for an Onryoāit helps keep the ghost at bay without using limited resources. A tip from my playthroughs is to always keep a firelight lit and ready to relight instantly if it goes out. The timing is important because the Onryo can extinguish the same firelight multiple times, but with two firelights, you prevent it from reaching the critical third extinguish. This strategy also has a safety margin if your sanity drops below 60%, a common danger zone. Since the Onryo is very aggressive when your sanity is low, having the backup firelight gives you the extra protection you need. Overall, using two firelights is a tested and reliable method. It requires some preparation and keeping track of your fires, but it greatly reduces the risk of sudden hunts and gives your team a better chance at surviving the Onryoās wrath. Give it a try and see how it changes your ghost-hunting experience!
