Final Words Before the Ban
Representative Ro Khanna has stated a petition to save tiktok. He plans to put it before our governing parties to pressure them into making a favorable decision for the people. The link to it is in my Tiktok Bio Beacons page. Or I'm sure you can Google search it.
It really has been a pleasure to build a community on Tikto. They are more real and authentic than any other platform.
I know so some people have had bad experiences on there with people being rude or hateful (what place isn't on the internet?) but even though I've had my spare share of rude/ hateful comments, I've also never had more positive feedback ever in my life or online. A majority of my time on tiktok has been delightful.
It was also a place where I learned so much about the world and got inspiration and courage to try new things, Like animation, writing a book, creating animatics, and other animated memes.
As an artist, Tiktok was the only platform that didn't push me out. The only platform that didn't put down ridiculous AI initiatives that would scrub all my hardwork and steal it for their own machines just for some chuckleF to say that their an "Artist" without any hardwork or soul. (And let's not mention them stealing the money that comes with that! And the poor souls that get scammed by these "artists" only to get stolen artwork.)
I won't stop fighting until this ship finally sinks...Its not just about my community. It's also about the 100s of Millions of people who are going to lose everything in this catastrophe and the government that BLANTENTLY disregards our First Amendment right.
