How to get Toned Legs ✨ Workout Routine 🏋🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Hey Besties!

Here’s my workout split to achieving those toned legs!

1️⃣ GYM

- yes you have to gym in order to build muscle to get that definition! Running without gymming will just get you lean, maybe with some definition. But because we want More definition, you have to go to the gym to build them up!

- overall gymming is good for striking a balance with running! Helps you to build muscles to protect your knees too!

- here are my go to gym exercises: squats, RDLs, hip thrusts and cable kick backs - yes they are glute centric but also workout other parts of your legs too! Also, for the legs to look good, your ass needs to look good too 🤗

2️⃣ RUN

- I can’t stress this enough! It’s not enough to just gym, running is key to making those muscles in shape and get that overall toned image!

Gymming alone will grow muscle, but you need to run to get them lines to appear!

⭐️ Fits are from Lera Active (Shopee) ✨

... Read moreAchieving toned legs requires a balanced approach involving both strength training and cardiovascular exercise. The key gym exercises mentioned—RDLs (Romanian Deadlifts), cable kickbacks, hip thrusts, and squats—target various leg muscles, including the glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps. These compound movements not only enhance muscle definition but also improve functional strength, which is essential for everyday activities and injury prevention. Incorporating running 2 to 3 times a week complements gym workouts by helping reduce body fat and enhance muscle tone. Running promotes vascularity and muscle striation, which bring out the lines and shape of the legs. This combination of muscle hypertrophy through gym workouts plus fat reduction from running yields the desired toned look. Moreover, building muscle around the knees through exercises like squats and hip thrusts provides support and reduces injury risk during high-impact activities. Prioritizing form and gradual progression in weights is crucial to avoid strain. For best results, include a gym workout routine focused on the stated exercises twice weekly while adding running sessions 2-3 times weekly. Consider adding variation such as interval running or hill sprints to maximize muscle engagement and fat burn. Lastly, nutrition and recovery play a vital role in muscle definition. A balanced diet with adequate protein intake supports muscle repair, while sufficient rest allows for optimal recovery and growth. Proper gymwear, such as those from Lera Active, can enhance comfort and motivation during workouts. In summary, combining a targeted gym routine with consistent running and proper nutrition creates an effective path to achieving toned, well-defined legs and strong, healthy knees.
