I poured a lot of passion into capturing his unique intensity, aiming to satisfy fellow fans searching for detailed 'Okarun fanart' and insights into his character design. It was an interesting way to push the mood and give the artwork a distinct aesthetic. In contrast, I also worked on a version with natural lighting to showcase the raw detail of his appearance, letting every line and shade speak for itself. I wanted to make sure viewers could appreciate the nuances of his design, whether it's the slight glint on his glasses or the texture of his skin when he's in full transformation. I felt this really amplified the mysterious and supernatural vibes of Dandadan, adding another layer of storytelling to the artwork. It hints at the strange encounters and entities that define his journey and the constant otherworldly presence in his life. These elements are designed to draw you deeper into the Dandadan universe. As a traditional artist, bringing these characters to life with pencil and ink before adding any digital touches is a process I truly love. It allows for a tactile connection to the art, and I find the initial sketching phase incredibly rewarding for figuring out the pose and composition.
