my top 3 bands!

i listen to a ton of different genres but at the end of the day, these bands top everything.

Metallica is an obvious top band for the vast majority of music enthusiasts but i don’t think enough people mention why they are so good. This band single handedly has had some of the best talents in their lineup. Lars’ drumming is the inspiration for some of the most successful drummers in history most notorious being Joey Jordison. James Hetfield is easily one of the best guitarists alive today and yet he stays playing rhythm which is insane but his riffs kill. Seeing them live, regardless if you like them, is a treat and i would encourage anyone to see them. Even their worst albums are still good.

The Doors can be attributed to the culture that surrounds rock music and metal music. The hedonistic tendencies of Jim Morrison would inspire Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, and many more. Dude was actually wild af. Their lineup was super super unique as they never had a bass guitarist and instead had a piano/organ player. And their sound in and of itself is just transcendent. Each time i hear The Doors im literally transported to a different time. Their sound is so specific to them and no other band can compare imo.

Led Zeppelin is just that girl tbh. Jimmy Page is easily one of the best guitarists of all time. Robert Plant set the standard for rock vocalists. I have yet to meet one person who doesn’t like Led Zeppelin and there is a reason for that. The artistry and talent was unmatched. Every song is a 10/10.

Their live performances are legendary, showcasing Jimmy Page's guitarist virtuosity and Robert Plant's dynamic vocals. Each band contributes distinctively to the rock narrative, making them must-listen bands for any music lover.
