AMA Summer Camp Edition!
Every year, I’ve worked summer camp at a church. I found this camp back in 2019 and loved it. They really treat it as a normal summer camp and give the kids the option of doing the religious parts. No one is forced into anything. And everyone is welcome. There’s no discrimination or anything or the sort. Everyone is so kind.
My admins have always been amazing. My director and assistant director are phenomenal. I did end up working for the before and after care program as well during the school year but had to leave when I got pregnant due to HG complications.
Summer camp is so fun but I know it seems so daunting for others! Ask me anything you want to know about working at a summer camp!

Is this the same as being a camp counselor? If so how did you end up becoming a group leader and is the process complicated?
