Why can’t I be proud of both flags? Ni de aqui, ni de alla? How about I’m from here and from there. Both rooted in me. Love my immigrant parents. Love my American life with Mestizo culture infused. Love that we can coexist in this land with many other cultures. A “status” doesn’t signify if you are a good person or a bad person, your character is what dictates that. Very astounding to think that people can exist with a negative mentality that pins people against people. Y’all stay safe out there, there is still a long journey ahead of us.
