P.U.S.H. MINISTRY

CLEANED UP FOR THE CALLING

For Community

📖 Isaiah 6:8

“Here am I! Send me.”

Isaiah didn't hide his brokenness.

He confessed it.

God cleansed him.

Then Isaiah answered the call.

Our communities need people who understand grace.

People who know what forgiveness feels like.

People who have been restored.

People who refuse to use somebody's past as their permanent label.

Your testimony is not about how perfect you are.

Your testimony is about what God has done.

So when somebody walks into your community carrying shame, don't push them away.

Make room.

When somebody falls, help them get back up.

When somebody needs forgiveness, point them toward grace.

When God asks, “Who will go?”

Don't wait for somebody else.

Say:

“HERE I AM.

SEND ME.”

TODAY'S CHALLENGE:

Encourage one person who needs to know their past does not define their future.

CLEANSED FOR SERVICE.

RESTORED FOR PURPOSE.

SENT TO SERVE.

P.U.S.H. MINISTRY

Pray Until Something Happens

... Read moreReflecting on the message of P.U.S.H. Ministry reminds me how important it is for communities to foster environments of grace and restoration. Many of us carry baggage from our past—whether mistakes, regrets, or shame—that sometimes makes us feel unworthy of love or purpose. Yet, stories like that of Isaiah provide a powerful example: he openly acknowledged his brokenness, sought cleansing, and was then sent forth with a mission. This trajectory from guilt to grace is not just biblical history but a practical model for personal transformation and community impact. In my own experience volunteering and supporting community groups, I have seen how individuals who grasp forgiveness and restoration can become incredible agents of change. When we stop defining people by their past faults and instead focus on what God has done in their lives, both the individual and community thrive. It takes courage, however, to be the one who says, "Here I am. Send me." But those words carry the promise of purpose and healing. One practical step you can take is to encourage someone who struggles with shame or feels stuck in their history. Often, the simple act of listening without judgment and pointing toward grace opens doors for healing. Another is to be mindful not to push away those who come to our communities burdened by guilt—make space for them, help them stand, and introduce them to the restorative power of grace. P.U.S.H.—Pray Until Something Happens—is more than a slogan; it’s a lifestyle of persistent faith that God will move in hearts and circumstances. Cleansing and restoration are ongoing processes, and serving with purpose stems from fully embracing that journey. When we do, we not only find personal healing but also become beacons for others needing hope. Ultimately, this ministry invites us to live out a testimony not based on perfection but on transformation. It’s a call to be cleansed for service, restored for purpose, and sent to serve others. Answering that call changes lives, starting with our own and spreading throughout the communities we are privileged to serve.
