Preventing falls is critical, especially at night or in slippery areas like bathrooms. We installed grab bars and leave night lights on to help avoid accidents. Keeping floors dry and nonslip is essential. Encouraging elderly relatives not to walk unassisted if unsteady is tough but necessary. It’s also important to spread awareness of how devastating a fall can be for older adults—not just a minor bruise. Educating family and caregivers about these risks can save lives and maintain dignity for our elders.
