Naming my current emotional state out loud also helps me maintain honest self-awareness, grounding me when stress clouds my judgment. Rewatching comfort shows is my go-to for genuine nervous system relief. Since there's no need for new processing, it allows my brain to rest and recharge without extra cognitive load. Lastly, brain dumping—writing down swirling thoughts externally—has helped me unclench and find mental clarity.
