Semester frenzy 😩
Being a college student isn’t for the weak,but I don’t plan on giving up. This is the only day in my schedule where I’m booked and busy fr. This day I had two hours of sleep and I was doing great. Until, the end of the day came. I was starving and tired. I sat in the front row of the class and I couldn’t stay awake. I was so embarrassed 😭How is spring semester for yall ?

But over time, I've picked up a few hacks that really help manage the madness, even if they don't solve the problem entirely. For example, seeing your planner next to the 'Batman Beyond' animation course reminded me how crucial it is to actually schedule everything, not just mental notes. I try to block out study times, class times, and even those crucial breaks. Those short, strategic breaks are lifesavers. Whether it's a quick trip to the 'vending machine' for a pick-me-up (even if it feels like 'Highway robbery'!) or making sure to grab a quick 'Snack Time' with something like an orange or a KIND bar, staying fueled and hydrated (like your 'What to do in a 1 hr break Stay hydrated!' tip) makes a huge difference. Finding a quiet 'Reflection Space Guidelines' or a peaceful spot in the 'CAMPUS PRAYER ROOM' for 'PRAY' or 'Salah ASR PRAYER' provides that much-needed mental reset. It’s amazing how a few minutes of calm can help refocus when your brain feels completely scattered. And about sleep – even if getting a full eight hours feels impossible, try to squeeze in an extra hour whenever you can. Sometimes, a 20-minute power nap between classes can prevent that embarrassing moment of falling asleep in the front row.
