Si Thep Historic Park is one of the World Cultural Heritage Sites of Thailand listed by UNESCO on September 19, 2023 under the name "The Ancient City of Si Thep and its Associated Dvaravati Monuments, which is the 7th World Heritage Site and the 4th in Thailand's World Cultural Heritage category.
# # # History and significance
Located in Srithep District, Phetchabun Province, it was in the 8th-18th century. It was a very important city in the Dvaravadi period. It was contacted by many religious beliefs and sects, including Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism, as well as Brahman-Hinduism. It was a center of exchange for goods that could be easily contacted by other regions and reflected three successive periods of prosperity, from the late prehistory, the Dvaravavadi era to the era of power.

The ancient city of Srithep has a moat and a city wall surrounded by two parts: * an inner city * and an outer city *, with an area of about 4.7 square kilometers, or 2,889 acres.

The ancient city of Srigod expresses its wisdom in the selection of Chaiyaphum, its location as a link combining cultural diffusion and exchange of goods within and between regions. It has its own unique style of mechanic genus, especially the older group of deities found from the ancient city of Srigod.
Travel to Srithep Historic Park can take National Highway 21 from Bangkok to Phetchabun and then split into National Highway 2211.
