セリアのバイアステープって、無地だけじゃなくて花柄や大人っぽい柄も多くて、ワイシャツのリメイクにめちゃくちゃ相性いいです。私がやってみて「これ知ってたら最初から迷わなかった…」と思ったポイントをまとめます。 まず、ワイシャツの“印象が変わる場所”は襟ぐり・袖ぐり・ボタンの3つ。全部を大改造しなくても、ここだけ触ると一気に「自分の服」っぽくなります。特に襟ぐりは顔まわりなので、バイアステープの柄がチラッと見えるだけで可愛いです。セリアの「バイアステープ ナッツ&ベリー」みたいな落ち着いた柄だと、部屋着っぽくならずに大人カジュアルに寄せられました。 やり方のコツは、最初に“どこまで切るか”を決めること。襟を残すのか、思い切って襟を落として丸首寄りにするのかで難易度が変わります。初めてなら、襟は浅めにカットしてバイアステープでくるむだけでもOK。袖はカフスを外す（または短くする）だけでも軽くなって、ゆるっと着やすくなりました。 「ワイシャツの首回りを伸ばしたい」場合は、無理に引っ張るより“縫い代を減らす”のが安全です。襟ぐりの縫い直しでほんの数ミリゆとりが出ることもあるし、前立て（ボタンのある部分）の上だけ一番上のボタン位置をずらすのもアリ。私はボタンを少し小さめに替えたら、見た目も軽くなるし留め外しもラクでした。 バイアステープ選びは、無地なら失敗しにくく、柄ならワンポイント使いが便利。襟ぐりと袖ぐりに使って少し余った分は、胸ポケットの口や内側の見返しにちょい足しすると「余り感」が出ずおすすめです。買いすぎると“作らなきゃ”ってなるので、まずは1本で1着分を目標にすると続きやすいと思います。 最後に、手縫い派のメモ。夜に少しずつ進めるなら、アイロンで折り目をしっかり付けてから縫うとズレが激減します。セリアの材料だけでも十分かわいく仕上がるので、まずはボタン交換＋バイアステープ1か所から試してみてください。
