What in the Buddha?!
Good morning, my friends!
I just finished my morning meditation and Tai Chi. Meditation, especially, has been so helpful to me in my spiritual journey. It is key to dealing with my anxiety, negative thoughts, and insomnia.
I highly recommend you give it a try.
I like guided meditation and my favorite is Robert Bahedry. He has a calming voice and nurturing way. He has several guided meditations for various situations.
I also recommend a daily program of walking/stretching/exercise whatever that means for you.
Nature and sunshine are very grounding, cleansing and clearing. I recommend being outdoors at least a few times a day and really take in the nature around you. Feel the sun on your face and the grass or earth between your toes!
Last, Timber Hawkeye, has three books out now that helped me with a lot of my spiritual questions along my journey. He also has a pod cast. Look him up! He's an interesting guy.
I hope you find your path and peace!
Namaste, my friends! 🙏🏼🌈
In my own experience, incorporating meditation and gentle movement like Tai Chi into my daily routine has been transformative. Starting with just five minutes each morning, I noticed a significant reduction in my anxiety levels and a more peaceful mindset throughout the day. Guided meditations, particularly from soothing voices such as Robert Bahedry’s, provide an easy way to stay focused and calm — even for those new to the practice. Alongside meditation, I also make sure to move my body gently with walking and stretching. It doesn’t have to be intense exercise; the key is consistency and listening to your body’s needs. Being outdoors further enhances these benefits—feeling sunlight on your skin and connecting with nature’s elements promotes mental clarity and emotional balance. Additionally, exploring spiritual teachings through books and podcasts like those by Timber Hawkeye has helped deepen my understanding of mindfulness and living in the present moment. His approachable teachings offer practical advice for anyone seeking spiritual growth without feeling overwhelmed. For those struggling with insomnia or negative thoughts, these practices create a calming nightly ritual that prepares the mind for restful sleep. Starting your day with gentle meditation and ending it with gratitude can create a positive cycle of wellness. Remember, spirituality is a personal path; be patient with yourself and enjoy the journey to finding your own peace.
