◯ Water Manju
Pearl agar: 10g
Granulated sugar: 50g
Water: 150cc
Favorite red bean paste: 60g (Roll into 5g)
① Combine the pearl agar and sugar,
Add to a small pot of water and mix.
② Bring to a boil and mix.
③ Pour ① half into a container or cup
Put the rolled red bean paste and pour ① again from above.

④ When the heat is removed, cool it in the refrigerator.

私もこの水まんじゅうのレシピを試してみたのですが、やはり重要なのは「容器を濡らしておく」裏ワザでした。これをしておくことで、固まった水まんじゅうがつるんと型からスムーズに外れ、見た目もきれいに仕上がります。 また、パールアガーは粉末のまま使うタイプの寒天代替品で、ゼラチンよりも硬めの仕上がりになるため、水まんじゅうのぷるっとした食感をしっかり再現できます。私の場合は、火にかける際に焦げつかないよう、火加減に注意しながら、へらでかき混ぜ続けるのがポイントでした。 グラニュー糖の量はレシピ通りで程よい甘さでしたが、甘いものが苦手な方は砂糖の量を少し減らしても十分美味しく作れます。また、あんこは手作りでも市販のものでも問 題ありませんが、小豆の風味を楽しむなら、できれば甘さ控えめのもので自分で丸めるのがおすすめです。 私が使った100円ショップの水まんじゅう用型もとても便利で、洗いやすく繰り返し使えるので、お菓子作り初心者の方には特におすすめです。これらのプチプラアイテムを活用しながら、和菓子づくりの腕を少しずつ磨けるのが嬉しいですね。ぜひ皆さんも、お家時間の息抜きにチャレンジしてみてください！
