「金封を厚紙で作りたい」って時、意外と“きれいに見える厚さ”と“お札が入るサイズ”がポイントでした。私がやってみて良かったコツをまとめます。 まず材料。おすすめは100均の八切り画用紙（しっかりめの厚紙）か、家にある厚紙（お菓子の箱・コピー用紙より厚めの台紙）。柄を足したい時は折り紙や包装紙を表面に貼ると、一気に金封っぽく見えます。のりより両面テープの方が波打ちしにくくて仕上がりがきれいでした。 サイズ感は「入れたいもの」で決めるのが失敗しにくいです。 ・三つ折りのお札→今回みたいな“ミニ金封（ポチ袋）”がちょうど良い ・お札を折りたくない→厚紙を正方形に切って折る方法が便利で、入れ口も広めに作れます（画像の「正方形に切って折ると、お札がそのまま入る」タイプ）。 作り方のコツは、折り目をしっかり付けること。私は定規を当てて爪でスッと折り筋を付けると、厚紙でもピシッと決まりました。真ん中の線まで折ったら、三角の下が中心に重なるように折る…という流れにすると左右のバランスが取りやすいです。 厚紙の金封で気になるのが「中身が落ちない？」問題。小銭を入れるなら、最後はシールで留めるのが安心でした。和柄シールや丸シールにすると“ちゃんとした感”が出ます。さらに丁寧にしたい時は、内側に小さく両面テープを1点だけ付けて、開けやすさも残すのが使いやすかったです。 あと地味に助かったのが、お札のシワ伸ばし。クッキングシートに挟んでヘアアイロンを軽く通すとまっすぐになりやすいです。ただ、ホログラム部分は当てない方が安心。 急に金封が必要になった時でも、厚紙が1枚あるとサッと作れて本当に便利でした。お正月だけじゃなく、習い事の月謝・ちょっとしたお礼にも使いやすいので、気に入った紙をストックしておくのおすすめです。
