東京ステーションホテルは、東京駅の中央に位置し、歴史的な価値だけでなく現代の快適さも兼ね備えたホテルです。私もこのホテルに宿泊した際、まずそのクラシカルな建築美に感動しました。辰野金吾氏が設計し、完成までに11年を要したという重厚な歴史を感じながら館内を歩くと、まるでタイムスリップしたかのような気分になります。 今回の宿泊で特に印象に残ったのは、110周年記念のパープルカラーのバッジを全スタッフが着用し、それがゲストにも配られたことです。ホテルの節目を一緒に祝える特別感は、滞在をさらに思い出深いものにしてくれました。また、妹様からのプレゼントで予約されたというエピソードも温かく、ホテル側が予約者の名前をテレビ画面に表示したり、誕生日用のお祝いプレートを用意してくれるサービスには心から感動しました。 ホテル内の館内ツアーガイドパンフレットを利用して、歴史的な各ゾーンを巡るのもおすすめです。私もツアーに参加しましたが、重要文化財に指定された建物の保存・復元の過程や、関東大震災や戦時下を乗り越えてきた様々な歴史的背景を知ることができ、とても勉強になりました。 部屋番号3069は、ささやかなロックのような存在で覚えやすく、部屋の内装も上品で落ち着いた雰囲気。窓からは東京駅のドームが見え、特に夕暮れ時の眺めは格別です。私が宿泊した時は希望したドームサイドの部屋は満室で諦めましたが、次回はぜひそちらに泊まってみたいと思っています。 また、ベルボーイの方とのちょっとした交流も宿泊の楽しみの一つに。姉妹で泊まった私たちの似ているところを話題にして盛り上がり、暖かなサービス精神とホスピタリティを実感しました。 東京ステーションホテルは、歴史深い建物に泊まりたい方、東京駅の中心で特別な体験を望む方には自信を持っておすすめできるホテルです。お祝いの気持ちを大切にするスタッフの細やかな心遣いが感じられ、まさに「また泊まりたい宿」にふさわしいと思います。 次回は季節を変えての宿泊も考えており、癒しの時間をもっと楽しみたいと考えています。東京駅・丸の内周辺の散策やコンサートとの組み合わせも充実していますので、ぜひ計画してみてはいかがでしょうか。
