「埼玉園芸市場（埼玉園芸卸センター）」って一般開放してるの？会員じゃないと入れない？が気になって行ってみた体験談をもう少し詳しくまとめます。 まず結論から言うと、私が行った日は“会員制だけど当日その場で入会して買い物できる”スタイルでした。事前に調べ不足で突撃したので焦りましたが、受付で案内してもらえてスムーズ。会員登録料は2,000円で、初回は「お得に見えても登録料込みの合計」を計算してから買うのがおすすめです（慣れると2回目以降がかなりお得に感じます）。 店内はとにかく広くて、写真を撮りたくなるコーナーが多いです。柱サボテンみたいな大型株や、斑入り系（斑入りのモンステラ＝タイコンステレーションなど）、ボトルツリー、アロカシア・シルバードラゴン、スキンダプサス、アスプレニウム等が並んでいて「値段大バグ！」って言いたくなる価格帯も。ジュエルオーキットがこの値段？みたいな掘り出し物もあったので、欲しいジャンル（塊根植物、アガベ、観葉植物など）を決めて行くと迷いすぎずに済みます。 買い方はちょっと独特で、カゴに入れた商品を専用伝票に「商品名・個数・値段」を自分で記入→店員さんにチェック→支払い、という流れ。私は最初ここで手間取りそうだなと思ったので、スマホで欲しい株を軽く写真に撮って（値札が写るように）メモ代わりにしました。レジ前で慌てにくくなります。 あと、レビューとして大事なのが“虫対策”。観葉植物売り場（特にガジュマル周り）でコバエが目立ったので、買ったあとは家に入れる前にひと手間がおすすめです。私は①屋外で葉水ついでに全体チェック ②鉢表面の状態確認（湿りすぎなら乾かす） ③必要なら表土を少し入れ替え ④コバエが気になる時は粘着トラップ設置、をやりました。せっかく安く買っても、家の中で増えると大変なのでここだけは本気で…。 全体としては「埼玉で観葉植物を安く買いたい」「埼玉園芸卸センターの写真や雰囲気を事前に知りたい」という人にかなり刺さるスポットでした。初回は登録料込みで計算しつつ、次回は目的の棚を決めてリピしたいです。
