Finished!

Made myself a southwestern-toned rainbow blanket! I thought the simple stitch pattern would help the color play shine. It took 10 5.29oz yarn cakes. I’m really going to miss Joann Fabrics- their Big Twist line was getting really good!

Birthday Boy!

Newport Aquarium!

Had a fun afternoon at the Newport Aquarium with my hubby! So many awesome creatures. They had a wide variety of jellyfish, several beautiful snakes, a huge Moray Eel, and an albino alligator!

Mending!

I bought these shorts, but the double holes were so annoying! I love reusing old laces and ribbons to decorate other things, like Christmas stockings and Christmas tree ornaments…so I decided to patch these up, and added some simple embroidery. What do you think?
