Is the job of an architect really interesting?

I've been asked about my job as an architect.

Is an architect an interesting job?

The answer seems simple, but it's actually a bit of a difficult question.

The job of an architect is never an easy job.

Responsibility for drawing drawings. Judgment on site. Meeting with the client. Adjustment with structure and equipment.

In order to complete one building, it is necessary to proceed with work while cooperating with many people.

Architectural work is also a job of coordination more than you think.

It takes a long time for the building to be completed.

We have to revise the drawings many times, hold meetings, and make judgments each time a problem occurs on site.

That responsibility is by no means small.

Still, there's a reason why so many people keep doing this work.

It is the joy of the moment the building is completed.

A building that I have seen many times on the drawing.

However, when I actually see the completed building, I feel special.

Buildings are not built alone.

Designer. Site supervisor. Carpenter. Equipment contractor. Electrical contractor.

The skills and efforts of many people gather to complete one building.

When I stood in front of the building,

"I'm glad I'm doing this job."

There are moments when I think.

I went into the field as a carpenter when I was young.

After that, I started to work in design and obtained a first-class architect qualification.

And I started a design office and continued to work in architecture.

The work of architecture is never smooth sailing.

Sometimes the company went bankrupt.

Nevertheless, I continued to work in architecture.

Why?

Because I like this job.

Draw a drawing. See the site. The building is completed.

There is an interest in the process that is not found in other jobs.

And the job of architecture is also a job to study for the rest of your life.

Technology is advancing and buildings are becoming more and more advanced.

Structure. Equipment. Construction. Regulation.

There is no end to learning.

When I was 60 years old, I tried a new job.

I am a facility design first-class architect.

You can continue to learn the job of architecture no matter how old you are.

And there are still new discoveries in that learning.
