3. There is about 2-3 inches of space from the mouth of the cylinder to allow the rice to expand.

4. Pour the prepared coconut milk water to flood the sticky rice about 1 inch.

5. Leave for 30 minutes to let the coconut milk into the rice meat. Then cover the barrel mouth with a roll of banana leaves or coconut bracts.

The traditional way is to burn it with firewood or charcoal, which is the most fragrant.

• Set cylinder: Tilt the python cylinder against the iron rod or lean against the fire.

• Fire Control: Use a relatively weak central fire, keep burning, keep turning the bamboo barrel to heat.

• Duration: It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. Observe from the bubbling coconut milk water coming out to the mouth of the cylinder and the bamboo bark begins to turn yellow-brown or partially black.

• Checking ripeness: Once there is, reduce the fire to mild charcoal as a "smudge" to dry and soft rice.

4. Stripping and serving

When the rice has cooled down, use an orphan to sharpen the outer bamboo bark to a thin layer of white, so that it is easy for the sheep to eat.

Tip: If you want python to have a beautiful bamboo pulp attached to the rice when sharpening bamboo, be careful not to eat the meat deep to the pulp, and should eat it when it starts to warm up.
