Welp, that’s a happy accident!
On Sept 3rd, I got a hidden infection in one of my teeth, that the dentist didn’t catch, went home with an appointment for a tooth extraction on the 16th, next morning, agony, the worst pain I’d ever felt! There was no way I’d survive until the 16th, I called them, begged to see if there was anything sooner! They found a spot on the 8th! Thank god! But that didn’t help the hell going on in my mouth.
I go in to the dentist, beg for anything stronger than the Tylenol or ibuprofen they gave me, even though they didn’t think it’d work, cuz they didn’t see the infection on my examination, they gave me antibiotics. And by god, those little pink pills saved my life. There was no way I’d survive the weekend if they didn’t work! I had to keep cold, cold water in my mouth at all times or I’d flare something nasty.
So then come Monday, I go in, get the numbing of my life, and they pull the tooth, only to find the infection they said I didn’t have! (And let me tell you, her scraping out the infection was almost as bad as not having the pills!)
But oh it was a glorious relief, been having jaw pain that has been slowly waning, the hardest part after the horrible pain was not being able to eat! No crunchy, no chewy, no spicy! It’s been tough, and my social media has been cruel and showing me delightful foods I can’t have, (even the meat dishes have been tempting and I’m a vegetarian!!)
But soon I’ll be good to eat normally! And just in time too for my vacation to my friend’s house at the end of the month! It would have sucked not being able to eat!
