✨ habits and advice to lose 10lbs

This is how I went from 198lbs to 187lbs in 2 months!

💦 My # 1 tip is WATER. I aimed to drink half my body weight in ounces a day. So I aimed to drink 90oz of water a day. My Owala 32oz bottle made it easy, I just drank 3 of those a day.

🥗 My # 2 tip is FOOD. I ate less processed, fast food. I swapped my late night sweets for medjool dates. I aimed for 80 grams of protein a day which is easier said than done. My midwife suggested that when I was pregnant and I’m still following it. I ate more fruits and veggies in my lunches that I packed for work.

🚶🏼‍♀️My # 3 tip is MOVING. I tried to walk 5 times a week and if I couldn’t on rainy days, I did at home workouts instead.

🫶🏻 My last tip is CONSISTENCY. I struggle with consistency but I kept my goals fresh in mind. I want to keep up with my son and try to naturally regulate my cycles.

Begin with hydration; drinking enough water helps boost metabolism and aids in digestion. Aim for at least half your body weight in ounces each day. For instance, if you weigh 200lbs, strive for 100 ounces of water daily. Nutrition plays a crucial role in weight loss. Focus on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Minimize processed foods and seek healthier alternatives for snacks and desserts. Consider meal prepping to maintain control over your food intake, making healthier choices easier throughout the week. Incorporating regular physical activity is vital. Find activities you enjoy, whether it’s walking, running, or home workouts. Consistency in your exercise routine can lead to significant results over time. Aim to move at least 5 times a week, mixing cardio with strength training. Finally, keeping your goals fresh in your mind and establishing a support system will help maintain consistency. Tracking your progress can also motivate you and hold you accountable. Remember, everyone's body is different; focus on creating a routine that works best for you and be patient with your progress.
