Why you should visit downtown GREENVILLE, SC!!

Hey! I’m val, and I have always recommended downtown Greenville as a #placestovisit b/c of its wild selection of entertainment, dining, and scenic locations.

Now… downtown Greenville’s heart isN Main St. From there you can reach a huge variety of restaurants and dessert places, like my favorite frozen yogurt place,Blueberry Frog . Also, on Nov. 25 ‘ice on main’ opens up and it’s a way to spend time with friends, family, or significant others—$10 for an hour of skating, which is really all you need! TheGrand Bohemian Lodge Greenville, Autograph Collection is a beautiful lodge that Is open to the public; it has beautiful artwork and picture taking spots! Finally,Group Therapy Pub & Playground is a blast with friends and family. They have mini golf, ping pong, axe throwing, etc. they’re always hosting other events like their Halloween bash, and I totally recommend it. #lemon8challenge

... Read moreOkay, so Val already hit some amazing spots, but let me tell you more about why downtown Greenville, SC truly shines, especially when the sun goes down! I’ve spent countless evenings exploring, and there’s a special magic in the air. One of my absolute favorite ways to kick off an evening is a stroll through Falls Park on the Reedy. You know that stunning pedestrian bridge? At sunset, with the lights twinkling and the sound of the falls, it's just breathtaking. It's not just pet-friendly; it's soul-friendly! I love grabbing a coffee or a sweet treat from a nearby cafe and just soaking in the views. It’s perfect for a romantic walk or a peaceful moment by yourself. After that scenic beauty, I often head towards N Main St for dinner. While Val mentioned Blueberry Frog (which is divine for dessert!), there are so many diverse restaurants. You can find everything from cozy Italian bistros to vibrant Asian fusion spots. My advice? Don't be afraid to wander off the main drag a little; some of the best culinary gems are tucked away. If you're looking for some evening entertainment, Group Therapy Pub & Playground is an absolute blast! I've been there for their Halloween bashes – seriously, they go all out! Getting a group together for some mini-golf, ping pong, or even trying your hand at axe throwing is such a unique way to spend a night. It’s loud, it’s fun, and it’s always buzzing with energy. And speaking of unique experiences, when winter rolls around, Ice on Main is a must-do. I remember going with friends last year, and even if you're not a pro skater, it's so much fun just gliding (or wobbling!) around under the festive lights. For just $10 an hour, it's a fantastic seasonal activity that definitely adds a sparkle to your evening. For something a bit more refined, I always recommend popping into the Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville, Autograph Collection. Even if you're not staying there, the lobby and public areas are works of art in themselves. I've spent time just admiring the beautiful artwork and finding picturesque spots for photos. Sometimes I'll grab a drink at their bar – the ambiance is just incredible for a sophisticated evening out. It feels like stepping into a gallery and a luxurious retreat all at once. Downtown Greenville really transforms at night. The streets are alive with people, music sometimes drifts from open doors, and the city lights create a vibrant backdrop. Whether you’re looking for a quiet evening enjoying nature, a lively night with friends, or a romantic dinner, there's always something happening. It's why I keep coming back – there's always a new experience waiting around the corner in this charming city!
