how i rewired my brain to upgrade my life
waking up to visualizing your dream life is LIFE CHANGING, and my mood is so different. If you don't like Joe Dispenza's voice, you can pick ANY visualizing or affirmation meditation for this!
Here's how you do it: You download the meditation through Apple Music if you have a membership, iTunes if you don't. Then, when you click sounds for your alarm, just click "pick a song" and select your meditation.
I use Joe Dispenza's morning meditation. When my brain gets too used to it and I ignore it, I'll find a different meditation and cycle them, but the morning meditation from Joe Dispenza I always come back to!
iPhone alarm sounds only last 15 minutes, so whatever meditation you pick will cut off at 15 minutes! I still get those amazing 15 minutes to visualize the day and my life, so I LOVE it.

Beyond the incredible power of setting a Joe Dispenza morning meditation as your alarm, I've discovered that a truly upgraded life comes from stacking several small, intentional habits. If you're feeling 'bored of your life' or just having 'a bad day,' these additional practices can really amplify the 'rewiring my brain' process and help you achieve those 'minimum effort for MAX results' I keep talking about. Journaling for Clarity and Release One of the most transformative habits I adopted is what I call the '3 pages of journaling' method each morning. It's not about perfect prose or deep reflection initially; it's simply a brain dump. I grab my notebook and just write, stream-of-consciousness, for three full pages. It's amazing how much mental clutter this clears. It helps me process anxieties, acknowledge fears, and even stumble upon new ideas. For an extra cozy touch that makes this habit feel like a self-care ritual, I love sipping on a warm saffron chai latte as I write. This practice helps me start my day with a clean slate, making me less susceptible to feeling overwhelmed or stuck, which often underlies those 'bad day' feelings. Reading to Expand Your Worldview In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught in a bubble. That’s why I prioritize reading, both in the morning and at night. It doesn't have to be heavy academic texts; I find that engaging with a good book – fiction or non-fiction – helps me gain new perspectives on life. Reading in the morning primes my mind for learning and creativity, while reading at night helps me wind down and detach from the day's stressors. This consistent input of new ideas and stories is crucial for 'rewiring' old thought patterns and preventing that sense of stagnation that can make you feel 'bored of your life.' It broadens your empathy and understanding, making every day feel a little richer. Optimizing Sleep with Self-Hypnosis & Affirmations I can't stress enough how vital sleep is for true brain rewiring and an upgraded life, especially for a 'high maintenance adhd girlie' like me! Beyond the morning routine, what you do before bed sets the stage for deep restoration. I've found incredible peace and better sleep through self-hypnosis. There are fantastic resources out there, like YouTube videos (I've used ones similar to 'Condition Yourself To Go To Sleep Early'), that gently guide you into a relaxed state. It’s not about being controlled, but about consciously training your mind to unwind and prepare for rest. Paired with this, I use SLEEP AFFIRMATIONS – specifically, I love the ones by Superhuman. They often incorporate 'healing frequencies' and are designed to work on the 'subconscious benefits' of your mind while you sleep. Imagine sending positive messages to your brain all night long! This combination ensures that even when I’m sleeping, my mind is actively participating in the 'rewiring my brain' process, helping to heal and integrate all the positive changes I'm cultivating during the day. It's a powerful way to combat anxiety and wake up feeling truly refreshed and ready to tackle anything, transforming even the most persistent 'bad day' into a launchpad for a better tomorrow.
