Read more冬の「ミニトマト 冬 室内」って正直ハードル高いんですが、私がやってみて大事だと感じたのは“光・温度・根の環境”の3つでした。ここを押さえると、脇芽挿しでも種まきでも失敗が減りました。 まずミニトマトの水耕栽培。私は外の株の脇芽を摘み取って、ハイドロボールにぶっさしてスタートしました。ポイントは、挿す前に下葉を落として茎を少し長めに確保すること。水に浸かる部分の葉は腐りやすいので、茎だけが水に触れる状態にすると根が出やすかったです。最初の1〜2週間は水位をやや高めにして、根が見えてきたら水位を下げて“空気の層”を作ると、根っこがモサモサ増えました。 「ミニトマト 水耕栽培 種まき」で始める場合は、発芽適温が高めなので、冬は室温だけだと遅れがちです。私は日当たりのいい窓際+夜は冷えない場所に移動、でだいぶ安定しました。発芽後は徒長しやすいので、できれば植物育成ライトを1日12〜14時間くらい当てると茎が締まりやすいです。 次にパプリカ(水耕栽培・栽培方法)。パプリカはトマト以上に温度が大事で、寒いと一気に止まる印象でした。蕾が上がってきたら、夜だけでも15℃以上を目標にすると落花しにくかったです。植え方としては、根が張れるスペースが必要なので、容器は小さすぎない方が安心。ハイドロボールの場合、根が増えてきたら液肥は“薄めから”始めて、葉色を見ながら少しずつ濃くしました(濃すぎると根が弱ることがありました)。 冬の室内共通で困ったのが“乾燥と風通し”。暖房の風が直撃すると葉が傷むので、少し離して置いて、たまに換気してカビ予防。花が咲いたら、室内は虫がいないので、指や綿棒で花を軽くトントンして受粉の手伝いをすると実がつきやすいです。 おまけで、室内栽培しやすいハーブ系も便利でした。イタリアンパセリやパクチーは水耕キットでも始めやすく、三つ葉は室内の鉢植えでも育てやすいので、トマトやパプリカの“待ち時間”の楽しみにちょうどいいです。しそは成長過程が分かりやすい反面、光が弱いと徒長するのでライトがあると安心でした。
