🛠️ How to Make Paper Pack Pot
1. What to prepare
• 1L paper carton: 2 bottles (milk, juice, amazake, etc.)
Scissors / Cutter: Used to cut out packs.
Kiri (or awl): Used to make a drain hole in the bottom.
Tape: Used for reinforcement and to hold the mouth (masking tape is cute).
2. Make the outer frame (1st one)
1. Wash and dry the paper pack.
2. Cut horizontally from the crease on the mouth side to the bottom at the height of your choice (about 10 cm to 12 cm).
3. Make cuts in the corners of the four corners with scissors about 1 to 2 cm from the top, and fold it slightly outward to increase the strength and make it look neat.
3. Make a cross partition (second one)
This is the point of this bowl!
Using the second carton, cut out two flat rectangular pieces.
Width: The same length as one side of the pack (about 7 cm or more)
• Height: Same height as the outer frame
2. Make a vertical cut in the center of each part from top (or bottom) to half.
3. Insert the cuts so that they are engaged with each other, and a solid "cross partition" is completed.
4. Assembly and drilling
1. Set the partition inside the outer frame.
[MOST IMPORTANT] Turn the bottom of the pack upside down and drill 2-3 drain holes in each of the four private rooms.
If the hole is small, water can easily clog, so the trick is to widen it a little after opening it.
If you like, put a 100% aluminum sheet or remake sheet on the outside of the pack to prevent the ground temperature rise in summer and make it look fashionable.
💡 planting tips
Place about 1 cm of Akadama soil in each of the four rooms and then add new soil.
Private room management: By planting one plant in each room, the roots will grow and grow.
