My bf shamed me over having my hair removed

He recently asked me how l'm always completely hairless. I told him honestly that I did full body laser hair removal for nearly two years. I got this done when I was 15 to 17. He got weird and literally called me a 'sl*t' for it. I was shocked and I'm not sure how to feel or if I should be hearing him out on this? It felt really disrespectful. What even is this?
