Far Away from Home by Octavia Simmons (me)
Drifting past the stars unknown, A lone explorer, far from home.
Through crimson checks and shadows deep,
Where silence dares and secrets sleep.
A cosmic game, each square a choice, No gravity, no grounded voice.
Red and black beneath his stride, A woven path through space and pride.
Far from the blue skies once he knew, Now galaxies in scarlet hue.
One small step across the board, One great leap to worlds unexplored.
