Some days, showing up at the mat feels like the hardest part.
We were planning to go skiing this weekend, but with everything going on lately, our bodies were asking for something different. Stillness.
So instead of rushing out the door, we stayed in. I rolled out my mat, turned on my red light therapy, and let myself just be. No performance. No expectations. Just breath and presence.
Meditation doesn’t always come with a sparkly vibe. Sometimes it looks like choosing to slow down when your mind says go. Sometimes it’s the tiny shift of honoring your energy instead of overriding it.
Today was one of those days, and I’m proud I showed up anyway. Even if it was slow. Especially because it was slow.
